What is a sensory-friendly activity?
Sensory-friendly activities allow those with Autism or other special needs to experience popular events with smaller crowds, less noise, and startling sounds as well as decreased lighting effects for those with sensitivities.

The Nutcracker

Sensory Santa
Many Denver Metro Area malls, including Cherry Creek, Southwest Plaza, and Park Meadows, will have their sensory-friendly Santa meet and greet on December 4. Be sure to reserve your spot soon:
Home for the Holidays
On December 18, The Lone Tree Arts Center will have a sensory-friendly performance of, “Home for the Holidays,” a musical full of cozy cheer and even a visit from the Jolly Man himself, Santa!
Zoolights
Say goodbye to 2022 at the Zoo! This year, Zoolights is hosting a sensory-friendly night on New Year’s Eve and will have sensory kits for check-out, quiet rooms, low strobe effects, and other accommodations.
